TL:DR Food cooked to perfection, menu could use a bit more clarity, should be option for regular bun on burgers. Ordered the fish and chips meal. Fish was John Dory. Both the fish and the chips were cooked to perfection. Fish was fall apart flaky. The crumb was a crisp golden panko. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. That said, there was some excess oil and it should have been drained better before plating. The menu describes 2 fillet's, and technically this was an accurate description, however it is a longstanding convention when ordering fish and chips here that a fillet is a larger portion than a fish when ordering fish and chips. Both pieces included in this meal were on the small side of what would be considered a fish portion in a fish and chip shop. I would suggest that including the grams on the menu would better inform customers prior to purchase. I did not order a burger - because all of the burgers are served on brioche. There are a great many people, myself included, who will not eat a burger on brioche (see the internet uproar over it). In my case, I probably won't go back to order for the family because of it. It's a shame, because otherwise the food was great, I don't pass judgement on people who like it, but I do think that, for the sake of a few buns, restaurants should offer an option.

Absolutely lovely owners, have been here many times and have always been greeted with a smile and had a lovely chat Food was delicious reasonably priced also, just down the road from my children's school so super convenient for me. First time today I have purchased my chai latte and it was great! Would highly recommend!

A chef has parked a small food trailer outside his shop and making amazing food out of it. Burgers with LOADS of flavour. Sauce he makes himself. Amazing, delicious. It's just takeaways, but he said he has plans for some outside seating in future.

We popped into this shop before we headed up to Wairarapa. It was so good and we didn’t expect that much about coffee. It was amazing coffee, we’ve never had in a dairy shop. Also the food is amazing, highly recommend. The shop owners were also so very friendly.

Tried the fish burger and chips. The fish burger was great - fish was moist and had a great crumb, burger was saucy. It was even made with John Dory, which I was pleasantly surprised by. The chips were cooked very well, too. The man serving was very friendly, too. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

So glad I took a chance on this place!! My son wanted a "decent" burger so a quick search on good old Google lead us to MJ's Jurmana. We decided on 'The Devil Burger' as well as 'The Bad Girl Burger'. My goodness, first bite in was instant satisfaction and then every bite after that was as perfect as the last. Everything is so fresh. The owners make everything from the coating of the chicken, to the pickles and of course the sauces. Pleeeease support this lovely local family and their beyond delicious food. They are very warm and welcoming and you will not be disappointed!! I cannot wait to try more of your menu. Thank you :)

First time trying the bao bun and they were SO good! I have gone back a few times just for the buns. I have got them for visitors and they were raving about them and how soft the buns are. Will definitely be going back for the buns and will be keen to try something new too

Our first experience was beyond what I was expecting from the time we walked up to see what I wanted to order till the time we left the service was amazing the people were very welcoming and all around fantastic experience the food was absolutely divine and delicious thanks you guys for a Awsome service and delicious food
